Making Clothes Work For Their Living




Today I mended the waistband of a pair trousers, took the hem up on another pair of trousers, stitched up a seam on a cardigan, and darned two pairs of socks.  I feel like "Frontier Woman"!

In my old life I would never have dreamt of sewing to extend the life of my clothes. So that’s not only possibly saved items from landfill but has definitely saved me money.
